Type 3 MUGA – Multi-Use Games Area

The Playquip Type 3 MUGA provides a more open and flexible multi-sports solution, combining a high-level central goal and basketball section with lower-level side fencing to create an attractive and practical games area.

Manufactured from strong, durable steel and designed for long-term outdoor use, the Type 3 incorporates an integrated goal and basketball hoop, making it ideal for football, basketball and a wide variety of informal ball games and sporting activities.

The distinctive arched central ball-retention section provides additional height where it is needed most, helping to contain higher shots around the goal and basketball area, while the lower side sections maintain a more open appearance and excellent visibility across the site.

This makes the Type 3 particularly well suited to parks, recreation grounds, schools and community spaces where effective ball retention is required without the visual impact of a fully high-fenced MUGA.

The system can be configured to suit the available space, with different sizes, layouts and entrance arrangements available. Steelwork can also be powder coated in a wide choice of colours, allowing the MUGA to complement existing play equipment, school colours or the surrounding environment.
